Why are they happy?
Because they are having fun with friends they made by stamping!
Sure, being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator makes us part of an elite group who has access to audio and video training, exclusive information and updates about products. Of course we also get emails and magazines full of informative tips and beautiful samples. There are also these amazing
support groups, Facebook pages and blogs where we get to
share ideas, ask questions and communicate about classes. And the events! Those are pretty cool, too.
Oh, and the discounts . . .
Demonstrators get a 20% discount on all Stampin’ Up! products,
so it’s a great way to support our love of stamping and crafting. Plus, there
is also that extra income based on sales.
So yeah, being a demonstrator has its benefits.
But that’s not why they’re smiling! They’re smiling because
they are having fun!
Ask any demonstrator what the best part of demonstrating is and the
answer will always be the same: the friendships.
I had been a Stampin' Up! customer and active stamper for 9 years before I made the decision in 2013 to be a demonstrator.
Since then, I have made incredible friends, traveled to the home office in Salt Lake City with those friends, had lunch with an SU! catalog designer, collaborated with some SU! demos on blog posts and projects, and mentored and received affirmation from hundreds of remarkable ladies.
It's all about the people. And being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator allowed me to meet more people than I every anticipated.
And some of those people are now life-long friends.
If you decide to join Stampin' Up!, I would love to be your mentor, your support, your friend.
I'd love to talk to you in person about the experience of demonstrating (or just getting that discount!).
