We LOVE Miss Karen. She has been the bookend to the children's day for four years. She is kind, reliable and always waits when the kids are running down the street throwing their coats over their shoulders.
We didn't want to forget her when thanking all the people who made this school year great, so last night, we all brainstormed ideas for a card. Of course a bus seemed fitting, so while the kids were occupied, I got to work. This is what I came up with:
No, the stop sign isn't an octagon, but it does go up and down!
So, my part was done. Now, the kids had to put their mark on it:
Annie (who is 9) drew all the kids who wait at the bus every morning, and Henry (who is 6) wrote all the names and the Thank You at the top.
I don't think this card could ooze more cuteness!
So, here they are on their first and last day:
Say goodbye to 3rd grade and kindergarten kiddos!
