Lighthearted Leaves for Christmas!

Yes, the Lighthearted Leaves set is beautiful for Fall--even Spring and Summer with a color tweak, but did you think you could use it for Christmas? Oh yeah!

I loved both of these designs that I just couldn't pick my favorite.

What I do love about both, though, is the "nontraditional" color scheme. I used Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow. I heat embossed the "ornament" and the "Believe" with gold powder to make it sparkle. I really LOVE this card!

Materials List:
Lighthearted Leaves stamp set (photopolymer): $26 (139712 Holiday Catalog p. 44); Gold Embossing Powder: $5 (109129 Annual Catalog p. 162); don't forget your Embossing Buddy: $6 (103083 Annual Catalog p. 162)

INK/PAPER: Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Archival Black Ink, Versamark Ink)

Instructions:
1. Stamp the “branches” where desired in Archival Black ink
2. Rub the Embossing Buddy all over the papers on which you will heat emboss
3. Stamp the “ornament” in Versamark on a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock and then sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder.
4. Stamp “Believe” in Versamark on the card and sprinkle with Gold embossing powder.
5. Heat the ornament and sentiment with the heat tool to set
6. Color the leaves using a Blender Pen and Mossy Meadow ink; color the ornament and berries using a Blender Pen and Blackberry Bliss ink
6.   Layer as usual

Thank you for stopping by!

Until next time, stay crafty!
