I stumbled on a neat idea over the weekend! My daughter (12), is always begging me for new cell phone cases--apparently it's not for keeping a phone safe--it's all about style.
We went to the Dollar Tree and I let her pick out two new cases. Lucky me, I get her hand-me-downs! Hers was a clear case, and I immediately thought I ought to decorate it. But, outside decorations wouldn't work, so it had to be under the clear cover.
DSP to the rescue!
Then, of course, I got carried away and tried embossing with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which I just now realized we no longer carry (whoops!). Any embossing folder will work (ahem).
And then I had to stamp, of course! One of my new favorite bundles is Coffee Cafe! Without embellishments, the layers are flat enough to still fit easily under the clear cover (please excuse all the scratches. I did say it belonged to my 12-year-old daughter, right?).
I hope that inspires you to think outside the card, I mean "box!"
If you live in the United States, I'd love to be your Demonstrator! Shop with me any time!
Until next time, stay crafty!
Alison
