Think Happy Day 3

Today's project is the third in Think Happy Week, and it's my second favorite card this week (my favorite is saved for Friday!). It's happy and bright, and I love the use of negative space. All that white gives the images room to breathe.

"But, wait," you say. "What are those stickers in the middle of the sunburst?"

"And what," you continue, "is that sunburst made out of?"

Ahh, yes. Creative use of Clearance Rack products is what that is!

The sunburst is from the Kinda Eclectic set, which I featured the week of August 4-8. Click HERE to see!

Ok, back to the Clearance Rack. When I saw what has been added to the CR, I was so excited. Some of my favorite products are there, including the Happy Hello Simply Sent Card Kit. And just to show you can do more with the kit than what it's designed for, I decided to use it today.

Here is a picture of the kit:

And look at everything you get!

  • 8 printed, die-cut cards (4 printed with "Hello" greeting; 4 blank)
  • 8 printed custom die-cut envelopes (Daffodil Delight pattern on flap)
  • 24 Daffodil Delight Card Stock sticker flowers
  • 8 Basic Gray Card Stock sticker strips
  • 8 pieces precut Basic Gray Baker's Twine--exclusive to this kit! (ea. 18")
  • 8 adhesive-backed rhinestones.
And did I mention it is only $2.39! Seriously, it's a crime NOT to buy it.

So, I stamped the sunburst in Daffodil Delight and then layered the sticker flowers from the Card Kit, and then put a little circle in the middle.

The clouds are from the Word Bubbles Framelits:

Cute, right? They're really versatile, too.

That's about it. Once you have all the materials, the card comes together really quickly. But you can't do it without the Card Kit, and Clearance Rack products are first come, first served, so get them while you can!

Thanks for looking today. Check back later for more project ideas and the next day in "Stamp of the Week!"
