Sunburst Cards

One of the best things about being a demonstrator is getting to know other demonstrators and learning from them. At our most recent demonstrator meeting, a great technique was shared by my friend and talented stamper, Sue Scheets! She demonstrated how to make a "Sunburst" card, and she was so excited about the technique that she infected all of us.

Once I saw it, I knew this was going to be a project I would do with my Stamp Club this month, and it was also a fantastic way to show off the retiring products, especially that gorgeous DSP!

First off, watch Sue's video tutorial for the skinny on how to make this project and then come back and see my interpretations:

Ok, now that you're back, check these sweet cards out!

Supplies: Apple of My Eye, Cherry On Top DSP Stack

Supplies: It's My Party DSP Stack, Party Wishes Stamp Set, (and don't forget the Party Punch Pack that coordinates with the stamp set. It's retiring too!) Or, BUNDLE and SAVE 15%: Clear-Mount Bundle

Here's another version using the same stamp set but putting the focal point for the sunburst in the center.

This is such a fun technique. If you love any of the supplies used here, get them while you can because the retiring products are only "while supplies last!" If you shop with me, I will send you a "Thank you" surprise in the mail!

Have a great day!

Until next time, stay crafty!

Alison
