Chicago Trip

This week, I will take a vacation from my Stamp of the Week and share with you some fun tips, tricks and inspirational projects.

But first, an update!

We all took a trip up north to Chicago this last weekend. The kiddos are at the perfect age for these kinds of trips. It's such a joy to be with them.

The first day, we went to Navy Pier:

The second day, we went to Ikea (no pictures there . . . too much shopping!) and then LEGOland. Whoo whoo!

Finally, the kids saw their first Cubs Game. They were both chosen for the Kids' Corral which meant they were able to go down on the field and watch batting practice! What a thrill that was, especially for Henry who brought his special Cubs book hoping a player would sign it. The next best thing happened: the Cubs' Coach, Rick Renteria, signed his book!

And, to top it all off, We were there on a promotional day where the first 4,000 kids got an American Girl Doll Cubs' outfit. Seriously? That's pretty ahmazing.

Thanks for looking!

I will post again once we're unpacked and some laundry is done!
